Paneer Tikka Masala recipe | restaurant style paneer tikka masala

for marination:
1 cup curd / yogurt, fresh & thick
1 tsp kashmiri chilli powder
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp ginger – garlic paste
¾ tsp coriander powder
½ tsp garam masala powder
salt to taste
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp oil
¼ capsicum, cubed
¼ onion, cubed
9-10 homemade paneer / cottage cheese, cubed
for roasting paneer:
1 tsp oil
for paneer tikka gravy:
2 tsp oil
½ onion, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, pureed
10 cashews
1 tsp kashmiri chilli powder
¼ tsp turmeric powder
¼ tsp garam masala powder
salt to taste
2 cups water, add as required
1 tsp kasuri methi / dried fenugreek leaves
Instructions ( 1 cup =255 ml)
paneer marination recipe:
firstly, in a large mixing bowl take thick curd.
add chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder, garam masala, ginger – garlic paste, salt, lemon juice and oil. mix well.
furthermore add cubed capsicum, onions and paneer.
mix gently and marinate for 30 minutes.
roasting paneer recipe:
firstly, take a large tawa and grease with oil.
furthermore place marinated panner pieces and roast all the sides.
paneer tikka gravy recipe:
firstly, in a large kadai take some oil and saute finely chopped onions.
then add tomato puree and cashew paste.
furthermore add chilli powder, turmeric, garam masala and salt.
also add ¼ cup of water and mix well.
cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
now add roasted panner and leftover curd mixture.
furthermore, adjust the consistency by adding water.
get the gravy to boil.
finally, add crushed methi leaves and coriander leaves.
